August is the last full month of summer. "Romance of August" refers to Romance Awareness Month and Read a Romance Novel Month, both celebrated in August. They encourage people to celebrate love, read romance novels, and focus on their relationships. This month encourage couple to rekindle romance and celebrate love.

But one Sunday, 21 Aug 1983, in Manila International Airport, wasn't quite romantic. Benigno without his Philippine Passport, all 3 of the Philippine Embassies refused to give him his passport after a successful emergency heart surgery. Benigno Aquino Jr. should have said, "He would give his life to the Filipina, instead." 

Only an airline of China, granted him, no passport. They just forgot to check every inch of that airline for firearm smuggled, which happened as a Pinoy who laughed with him who landed at the back of his neck, a bullet. But after the hospitality of US Immigration, many foreign embassies, lacking dialects - Philippine Embassies, and many others, Benigno kept on  walking forward with determination. 

He was there to fulfill his promise, "I shall return." As he stood at the top of the Airlines' stairways, amidst the welcome shouts of many people, where was his family, not one there, fully automatic machine guns, greeted him, their romance to opposing politicians; Benigno fell as everyone screamed in former Manila International Airport. Amazing but his white shirt, had no blood showing at the back for God is our rear guard. He  protects our back. August romance was stilled.

7,641 islands of the Philippines and with elected Presidents, their crimes have only increased dramatically. Every 1st of the month in Manila, their capital, comes armed robberies everywhere. Not once has that stopped since last century. How can there be peace when lawmakers are just increasing monetary fines and not wages. Prices are allowed to increase dramatically. Online stores are allowed to join everyone in asking if the Philippines with their power outages has secret robots, admit it?

Female Journalists always shot to death every year by anonymous male pinoys driving motorcycles. Not one president has banned motorcycles. Many mothers and daughters, murdered while staying in hotels to shop at their biggest mall and even on Christmas Day. That mall has never been suspended for the rest of Christmas. No president ordered any Christmas, that the city go to Tondo Squatter area and bring them gifts including many families staying in hotels. Not one president has ever suggested that by press conference.

This shirt and more in the future, is a call to remember Benigno Aquino Jr. and what was he like as a father and politician. He was very loving and generous. To  remember that spirit, that we be more giving to hungry children everywhere, feed them and give them drink. Squatter areas of Manila, give them lechon and let them feast during the holidays. Lavish on them, cotton clothes. Pork Adobo, Fried Rice and Cold Palamig Drink should be to represent Benigno, what he would have done a lot.

Proverbs 22:9 NIV, "The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor." God calls us to action to feed the poor. Please feed the hungry. I would like families to wear this shirt to give food to the poor of Tondo, Manila and many places knowing that Benigno Aquino Jr, would have done the same.

Proverbs 19:17 NLT, "If you help the poor, you are helping the Lord God - and He will repay you." Berean Standard Bible, Exodus 22:22, "You must not mistreat any widow (Imelda Romouldez Marcos) or orphan. " This would make "Ninoy Jr" very happy as father and important politician of the Philippines.
